The pretty village of Ripley lies just 3 miles from Harrogate on the cusp on the Nidderdale countryside. The design of Ripley was based on a French model estate village and features cobbled streets, handsome 19th century buildings, and an array of interesting shops that lead up to the impressive Ripley Castle and Gardens which are well worth exploring.
Ripley is also home to a great dining pub, The Boars Head, and the 'World Famous Ripley Ice Cream' which is home made at the village store.
