Make the most of your riverside location and strike out for a walk along the picturesque river. If you're looking for a little more hustle and bustle, the charming market town of Leyburn is home to many independent shops and eateries that surround the town square and is just 8.5 miles away. The wonderful town of Bedale is just 2.5 miles from you.

Step inside this romantic single-story retreat to find the open-plan living space made up of the lounge, kitchen and dining area. Following a day of exploring the great outdoors, fire up the living flame fire and cosy up in front of the Smart TV in the comfortable lounge. The compact kitchen comes complete with all the mod cons you'll need to prep some hearty home cooking before sitting at the dining table to enjoy a meal with your partner. The restful bedroom is home to a cast iron king-size bed, with the solid oak furniture and soft furnishings creating a homely space to recharge. The bathroom sits right next door and houses a shower cubicle and underfloor heating for those colder months. 

There's much to be appreciated outside also, step through the French doors from the lounge into a private patio complete with bistro furniture and a BBQ; perfect for some al fresco dining during the warmer months or you could throw out a picnic blanket on the well-maintained law.n area. Cottage was lovely and have no complaints.The review does say there is a punch close by which does food but the day we called in they had decided not to so you cant rely on it

A wonderful part of North Yorkshire, the Little Crakehall Watermill Cottages are set in scenic surroundings. The Cottages themselves are immaculate, well equipped & the Hosts are the most really lovely helpful courteous people you'll ever meet.

What a little gem of a find, from the moment we arrivedwe were made to feel welkcome. The cottage itsekf was clean, comfortable and set in a lovely surrounding. Just at the bottom of the garden runs a beck , where it's a paradise for dogs. The owners are friendly and cannot do enough to make our stay memorable. A very cosy and comfortable cottage and we were well looked after by Allison who was most attentive and helpful. The gas fire in the living room was very welcome on frosty evenings.

The cottage was well equipped with everything we required. Very welcoming hosts much appreciated as its our first holiday due to COVID. The cottage is in a lovely spot and our favourite part of Yorkshire. Many thanks to Alison for the apple and pears fruit pies are already in the freezer. Beautiful quiet cottage in stunning North Yorkshire! Very comfy and our hosts could not have been more welcoming from arrival to a large bag of apples and pears on departure. The owners were ever so helpful. Everything was provided and it was home from home.Everything was immaculate and as my wife and I had just come out of lockdown we were impressed how much attention to detail made it a lovely stay in safe surroundings. We highly recommend this cottage and its owners.

Harrogate is a thriving, historic town at the heart of North Yorkshire and at the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. This fantastic town is a hit with culturists, historians and holidaymakers alike. Dubbed ‘The English Spa’ in 1596, the town boasts spa water high in iron, sulphur and salt. The Royal Pump Room is still open today as a museum, showcasing the original equipment that was used in its heyday. Two other major draws to the town are the Harrogate Convention Centre and the Great Yorkshire Showground. The former is a multi-purpose venue large enough to house huge conventions and business conferences. Many of the events are fan-based like the Lego-themed attractions and comic-cons. The latter is an outdoor venue that hosts even large events and shows, namely the agricultural Great Yorkshire Show.

For further horticultural foray, head to the RHS Garden, Harlow Carr. The stunning gardens provide a leafy retreat where you can wander through woodland and alongside waterways.

The town centre is home to an array of boutique fashion shops, as well as high street favourites in and around the Victoria Shopping Centre. The Montpellier Quarter also offers exclusive shops and a huge range of antique dealers, ideal for hunting out a unique bargain. This fashionable spa town also plays host to many Michelin-starred restaurants too.
