We enjoyed our stay at the Stables and received a warm welcome from John and Helen. John was very responsive and helpful when we had a minor problem that was easily resolved. The property was comfortable and cosy and we would return to this property if we are visiting the area again.

The property owners kindly left a welcome pack of cake, tea, coffee, milk and a lovely jar of honey from their own hive. We were made to feel very welcome and they even done a clothing wash for us to save us finding a laundrette. All in all we had a lovely stay.

Excellent location for our visit, showing my partner the delights of Yorkshire, and also an extra treat with a quick lesson in Bee Keeping. We were welcomed by John and Helen, but didn't see them very often due to our busy schedule as we only had a week visit

Good location and only a 20 minute walk to the centre of Knaresborough where there is plenty to see and do. The Riverside down Abbey Road is wonderful and the views from the castle spectacular. The cottage is bijou but has everything required for the stay. The owners are friendly and very helpful with suggestions of where to go and what to see.

Had a very pleasant week away in Yorkshire. The property is just a 20 minute walk from the centre of Knaresborough so we could leave the car behind on several occasions. Everything you need to cater for yourself is in the little kitchen area but there are several pubs and restaurants nearby for eating out too.
