The Snug is a perfect apartment for two in a wonderful setting. It is beautifully furnished and well equipped to a high standard. We had a lovely time in Gill's apartment. It is extremely well furnished, very warm and comfortable. The setting near the river is idyllic and we enjoyed walking the river route to Pateley Bridge even in the rain. Lovely place to stay, highly recommend it.

This apartment is the perfect base for a couple exploring the local area. It is well equipped and in excellent condition. We used it as a base for walking- the river path to Pateley Bridge is on the doorstep. On most days we set off on this path and then off into the wider Nidderdale. What a fabulous apartment this is. We stayed for a week and celebrated our wedding anniversary. It has everything you need, and extra special touches like the welcome pack on your arrival. Gill is a fabulous host, advising on places to visit and eat. You do need a car to get around, but there are so many places to visit. The Snug is really comfortable and although compact has everything you need. Everything was clean and the attention to detail excellent. It is an excellent location for access to the nidderdale area and beyond. It is a 25min walk along the river into Pateley bridge which is a lovely village. The snug is a beautiful place to stay and we found that we stayed in a lot more tha some other places we have stayed, as it was very clean and pleasant to be in. Also a great location for walkers

Beautiful apartment and surroundings. Gill, the owner, was very helpful and pointed out some lovely places nearby to explore. One of which was the Himilayan gardens. If you get chance, go and visit... it's stunning. Apartment was well equipt and in a quiet, relaxing location. Will definitely be recommending to family and friends.

Beautifully appointed apartment on the ground floor of an historic mill which is still undergoing further development. We were the first guests to stay at The Snug a beautifully decorated ground floor apartment at Glasshouses Mill, kitchen area although compact is perfectly suitable for preparing simple meals. Harrogate is a thriving, historic town at the heart of North Yorkshire and at the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. This fantastic town is a hit with culturists, historians and holidaymakers alike. Dubbed ‘The English Spa’ in 1596, the town boasts spa water high in iron, sulphur and salt. The Royal Pump Room is still open today as a museum, showcasing the original equipment that was used in its heyday.
