Both towns have an excellent range of restaurants to choose from, with Leeds being a popular spot for indulging in a spot of designer shopping. Harrogate is an historic town, known not only for its spa baths, but also its 200-acre parkland, The Stray, which is a great place for walks, picnics, and simply getting some fresh air.

This was our second stay at the property, which is perfect for dog owners with country walks from the door. The owners are friendly and accommodating, and the cottage is well equipped and comfortable. There is a farm shop and cafe a short drive away, together with easy access to local fuel filling stations.
