This bright and spacious cottage sits within the grounds of the owner’s 18th-century farmhouse, offering an ideal base for walkers and cyclists with stunning views of the surrounding countryside.

Situated on the owner's farm in the village of Cowling, this beautiful property is tucked away in a private and peaceful location, yet close to local amenities. The market town of Skipton is only a short drive away, well known as The Gateway to the Dales.  Walk the Pennine Way or take a trip to Pendle Hill with its walks, pubs and history of witches, making for a great afternoon out. Visit the wealth of shops, pubs and restaurants that Skipton has to offer, or explore the medieval castle. The Yorkshire Dales and Nidderdale AONB are within easy reach, ideal for walkers and cyclists, with Brontë Country and the town of Howarth also close by.

On entering the property, you are welcomed into a small entrance hall, perfect for leaving your muddy coats and boots after a long day of exploring. Enjoy the open-plan living space, with a bright and stylish lounge/kitchen/diner. Relax in front of the wood burner or make a cup of Yorkshire Tea in the well-equipped kitchen area with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge and dishwasher. The beautiful king-size bedroom enjoys views towards the nearby Cowling Pinnacle and Lund's Tower. Finishing the accommodation is a shower room with a WC.

Beautiful cottage in a stunning location. So quiet we didn't hear a thing and Victoria and Mark were so nice and welcoming and the little extra touches were lovely after a long drive! We will certainly book again. Perfect location to go exploring with local shops and petrol stations just down the road too. We have just enjoyed a perfect week in The Lodge at Intake Farm. The Lodge is beautifully appointed and in a great location from which we explored both the local area and North Yorkshire. We also enjoyed local restaurants and pubs and also found the Taxis to be very good, all of which helps with a relaxing holiday.. It was our first visit, but we wRead moreill certainly be back. Hide

The Lodge is a Gem Owners are very welcoming. Accommodation is spacious, clean, comfortable & warm. Kitchen is extremely well equipped. Beautiful views with outside seating to sit back and admire scenery. Walks start straight from door. Nicely situated to get out and about and plenty of eateries close by. Harrogate is a thriving, historic town at the heart of North Yorkshire and at the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. This fantastic town is a hit with culturists, historians and holidaymakers alike. Dubbed ‘The English Spa’ in 1596, the town boasts spa water high in iron, sulphur and salt. The Royal Pump Room is still open today as a museum, showcasing the original equipment that was used in its heyday. Two other major draws to the town are the Harrogate Convention Centre and the Great Yorkshire Showground.
