Lovely cottage close to centre of Knaresborough. Lot's of great walks locally and Harrogate or York accessible by bus or train. We counted twenty pubs within walking distance and no problem finding good things to eat. The cottage has a well equipped kitchen should you wish to cook.

Stayed here for 6 nights, and were made to feel very welcome by Richard & Jackie. They have thought of everything, and the extra charge for the hot tub is well worth it. The place is spotless and very comfortable. Would return and recommend to anybody.

The cottage was perfect for our family Christmas! We hired both cottages and there was so much space, the cottages were so well equipped with facilities- the toiletries smelt gorgeous and the Prosecco went down nicely on Christmas Eve! Harrogate is a thriving, historic town at the heart of North Yorkshire and at the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. This fantastic town is a hit with culturists, historians and holidaymakers alike. Dubbed ‘The English Spa’ in 1596, the town boasts spa water high in iron, sulphur and salt. The former is a multi-purpose venue large enough to house huge conventions and business conferences. Many of the events are fan-based like the Lego-themed attractions and comic-cons. The latter is an outdoor venue that hosts even large events and shows, namely the agricultural Great Yorkshire Show.

Fancy a day of walking? Head to the Valley Gardens, home to a multitude of landscaped gardens that embrace different styles and influence. For further horticultural foray, head to the RHS Garden, Harlow Carr. The stunning gardens provide a leafy retreat where you can wander through woodland and alongside waterways.

The town centre is home to an array of boutique fashion shops, as well as high street favourites in and around the Victoria Shopping Centre.
