A Grade II listed former stable sleeping six guests and offering a private indoor hot tub, situated within a few minutes’ walk of Knaresborough town centre in north Yorkshire.
This pretty Grade II listed cottage enjoys an attractive location in a quiet cobbled courtyard, just a few hundred metres stroll from the shops and restaurants of Knaresborough town centre. Featuring a fantastic four-seater hot tub, guests staying here will love the chance to end each day with a relaxing soak.
Shire Cottage is an attractive property offering a cosy lounge with a flame-effect fire, and a well-equipped kitchen/diner on the ground floor. Two bedrooms, both of which have super-king-size zip-and-link beds allowing them to be made up as twin rooms on request, are reached via a set of stairs in the lounge. Both of these rooms boast contemporary-style en-suite rooms, the first a shower room, the other a bathroom with a sumptuous double-ended bath. A third bedroom, again a flexile super-king, sits at the top of its own separate staircase, underneath which there is a fantastic wet room with a shower and a four-seater hot tub. Please note the hot tub attracts an additional charge and must be requested on booking.
Wander down the street from this property and within a few hundred metres find yourself in the heart of Knaresborough. The town’s castle, a dramatic ruin, lies within 0.5 miles of the cottage, as does the town’s pretty riverside area with its boat hire and waterside cafe. 4.5 miles from Knaresborough and easily accessible by road or train, the historic spa town of Harrogate is not to be missed, whilst both Leeds and York are situated less than 20 miles away.
Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
