Ideal cottage for a relaxing break with our 8 month old puppy. The private woodland is perfect and there are some great walks in the surrounding area. We had problems initially connecting to the wifi, the contact from the owner was fast and helpful. Watching the wildlife - deer, grey squirrels and rabbits play early evening and morning was lovely. A lovely cottage and immaculately clean. The cottage is on the road to brimham rocks so can get busy. There is no private outdoor space with the property but the owners woods are beautiful and a great place to start many walks. A good base to explore this beautiful area. The pub in summerbridge was closed but dont know if this is permanent.

Good location for walking straight out of the door. Wildlife and cows in the field opposite gave an attractive and interesting view. Equipment worked well for an enjoyable week's holiday.

Harrogate is a thriving, historic town at the heart of North Yorkshire and at the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. This fantastic town is a hit with culturists, historians and holidaymakers alike. Dubbed ‘The English Spa’ in 1596, the town boasts spa water high in iron, sulphur and salt. The former is a multi-purpose venue large enough to house huge conventions and business conferences. Many of the events are fan-based like the Lego-themed attractions and comic-cons. The latter is an outdoor venue that hosts even large events and shows, namely the agricultural Great Yorkshire Show.

Fancy a day of walking? Head to the Valley Gardens, home to a multitude of landscaped gardens that embrace different styles and influence. For further horticultural foray, head to the RHS Garden, Harlow Carr. The stunning gardens provide a leafy retreat where you can wander through woodland and alongside waterways.

The town centre is home to an array of boutique fashion shops, as well as high street favourites in and around the Victoria Shopping Centre.
