Fabulous house in a fabulous beautiful location. Everything you could need for your holiday. Impeccably clean and fresh. Warm and comfortable to sleep in while doors and windows were easy to open if you want a bit of a breeze. The landlady was lovely and came and introduced herself after we had settled in. Lovely house in a perfect location overlooking the River Nidd. Fabulous to wake up with a view of the river and iconic railway bridge! Perfect for a family get together. Great rail links to Harrogate, York and Leeds. Some old pubs/coffee shops and a lovely town.

Beautifully appointed cottage, and because of such it is obviously well used, however although it is a reasonably new build, it is showing signs of tiredness particularly some of the furniture.

The cottage was everything we expected from the photos, well laid out and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped if you want to cook, we ate out every day so did not need all the kit. Sky TV is a nice extra, especially in the winter. Short walk to town centre, up a steep cobbled slope or steps at the right hand side of the last house at the starRead moret of the cobbled street. Recommend Two Brothers, great food & service. Very handy for station and only 8mins to Harrogate (eat at Ginos, fab). Hide

Great location being on the water front and great to be able to walk along the riverside.. Very comfortable and well equiped. Being near the viaduct was not a problem you just heard a bit of a rumble from the trains, this didn't wake us up. A steep climb up to the town and train station by either road or steps which took about 5 minutes. Great makeRead moret on a Wednesday morning with lots of local goods. Lovely place to stay both house and location. Would love to come back. Hide

This is a lovely house in an amazing location overlooking the beautiful Nidd, about 5 minutes into town. The house is well equipped with all the mod cons and also has a downstairs toilet. Well located for walks and a short drive from local National Trust sites. The house was comfortably furnished for the 4 adults in our party and would have been fine for 6 too. Lots of great eateries within walking distance although the walk up to the town itself is a bit strenuous depending on your route. Breakfast and supper outside overlooking thRead moree river was a treat that will be missed! Hide

What a brilliant week we've just had staying at Nidd View. Loved the house, plenty of room for 6 of us and the location is perfect. Loved sitting watching the world go by and people having fun on the river. Fabulous View of the viaduct and only 5 mins to the station but not bothered at all by trains. Great base from which to explore - Harrogate, YoRead morerk, Grassington and a bit further to Whitby. Knaresborough is a lovely market town and we hope to be back one day. Definitely recommend Hide

Harrogate is a thriving, historic town at the heart of North Yorkshire and at the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. This fantastic town is a hit with culturists, historians and holidaymakers alike. Dubbed ‘The English Spa’ in 1596, the town boasts spa water high in iron, sulphur and salt. The Royal Pump Room is still open today as a museum, showcasing the original equipment that was used in its heyday. Two other major draws to the town are the Harrogate Convention Centre and the Great Yorkshire Showground. The former is a multi-purpose venue large enough to house huge conventions and business conferences. Many of the events are fan-based like the Lego-themed attractions and comic-cons. The latter is an outdoor venue that hosts even large events and shows, namely the agricultural Great Yorkshire Show.

Fancy a day of walking? Head to the Valley Gardens, home to a multitude of landscaped gardens that embrace different styles and influence. For further horticultural foray, head to the RHS Garden, Harlow Carr. The stunning gardens provide a leafy retreat where you can wander through woodland and alongside waterways.

The town centre is home to an array of boutique fashion shops, as well as high street favourites in and around the Victoria Shopping Centre. The Montpellier Quarter also offers exclusive shops and a huge range of antique dealers, ideal for hunting out a unique bargain. This fashionable spa town also plays host to many Michelin-starred restaurants too.

There is a host of places to visit and spend time at in and around Harrogate. We have a selection of holiday homes that include chic apartments, elegant townhouses and cosy cottages for romantic stays to inspire your break in Harrogate. Why not visit our collection to find your perfect property?
