Such a lovely cosy cottage perfect for myself and my husband . In a great position to visit North Yorkshire a beautiful area . Our only disappointment was that there was no welcome pack which was part of the holiday that we paid for and there seems to be nowhere else to go other than this site to make anyone aware of this . Feedback would be apprecRead moreiated as it was obvious that other guests had the welcome pack from their comments made in the guest book . Hide

Bit tight space wise for 4 plus dog. That said to be expected from a typical cottage of this type. Wonderful quiet location nice garden to relax in. Walks from doorstep with varied interesting wildlife above and below. Cottage itself was very comfortable and well equipped. Good location to explore the area and Ottley not far away if the isolation iRead mores too much for you. A drive to nearest pub but the Sun Inn was worth this for the food. We had such a fantastic time here as a family of 4. It was very comfortable cottage and the location is excellent - remote enough but only 10 minutes away from Otley (where they is a Waitrose for food shopping) and about 25 minutes away from Harrogate. It was an excellent base for exploring Yorkshire!

Lovely cottage in a beautiful location; good for walks & nice pub nearby. Somewhat smaller than expected downstairs. The garden was peaceful, pretty & well used by us (watch the step). Beds were very comfortable. Milk provided but would rather have had bread & butter than wine & biscuits. Some of the essentials; toilet roll, washing up liquid, toilRead moreetries, pegs, handwash, dishwasher tabs were limited or non existent. Really struggled to get into cottage as door didn't open/unlock easily. Hide

Harrogate is a thriving, historic town at the heart of North Yorkshire and at the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. This fantastic town is a hit with culturists, historians and holidaymakers alike. Dubbed ‘The English Spa’ in 1596, the town boasts spa water high in iron, sulphur and salt. The Royal Pump Room is still open today as a museum, showcasing the original equipment that was used in its heyday. Two other major draws to the town are the Harrogate Convention Centre and the Great Yorkshire Showground. The former is a multi-purpose venue large enough to house huge conventions and business conferences. Many of the events are fan-based like the Lego-themed attractions and comic-cons. The latter is an outdoor venue that hosts even large events and shows, namely the agricultural Great Yorkshire Show.

Fancy a day of walking? Head to the Valley Gardens, home to a multitude of landscaped gardens that embrace different styles and influence. For further horticultural foray, head to the RHS Garden, Harlow Carr. The stunning gardens provide a leafy retreat where you can wander through woodland and alongside waterways.

The town centre is home to an array of boutique fashion shops, as well as high street favourites in and around the Victoria Shopping Centre. The Montpellier Quarter also offers exclusive shops and a huge range of antique dealers, ideal for hunting out a unique bargain. This fashionable spa town also plays host to many Michelin-starred restaurants too.

There is a host of places to visit and spend time at in and around Harrogate. We have a selection of holiday homes that include chic apartments, elegant townhouses and cosy cottages for romantic stays to inspire your break in Harrogate. Why not visit our collection to find your perfect property?
