An absolutely beautiful cottage with everything you could need for a break away, even down to robes to use when walking to/from the hottub. We had a fantastic time at Glebe House as friends getting together for the first time in almost two years. A stunning setting, amazing internal layout and super clean.

A fantastic house. We are a family of 9 adults and 1 child getting together for the first time in 2 years. The house is so comfortable and clean, it is the best equipped house we have ever been to. Amazing stay. The bottles of prosecco, bread and milk were a really welcoming gesture and much appreciated. The rooms were all really comfortable and the kitchen/diner area was great for a large group getting together to socialise. Great location, handy for good walks and the shops were only 10 minute drive away if you needed anything

Harrogate is a thriving, historic town at the heart of North Yorkshire and at the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. This fantastic town is a hit with culturists, historians and holidaymakers alike. Dubbed ‘The English Spa’ in 1596, the town boasts spa water high in iron, sulphur and salt. The Royal Pump Room is still open today as a museum, showcasing the original equipment that was used in its heyday. Two other major draws to the town are the Harrogate Convention Centre and the Great Yorkshire Showground. The former is a multi-purpose venue large enough to house huge conventions and business conferences. Many of the events are fan-based like the Lego-themed attractions and comic-cons. The latter is an outdoor venue that hosts even large events and shows, namely the agricultural Great Yorkshire Show.

Fancy a day of walking? Head to the Valley Gardens, home to a multitude of landscaped gardens that embrace different styles and influence. For further horticultural foray, head to the RHS Garden, Harlow Carr. The stunning gardens provide a leafy retreat where you can wander through woodland and alongside waterways.

The town centre is home to an array of boutique fashion shops, as well as high street favourites in and around the Victoria Shopping Centre. The Montpellier Quarter also offers exclusive shops and a huge range of antique dealers, ideal for hunting out a unique bargain. This fashionable spa town also plays host to many Michelin-starred restaurants too.
