Beautiful stylish annexe with a warm welcome, set next to a working farm and is located close to Harrogate, making this property a perfect haven to get away from it all and explore Yorkshire.

This property is surrounded by open countryside on the outskirts of Harrogate and the Yorkshire Dales. The area is awash with walks, cycle routes and stunning scenery making it the perfect place to either relax or go on an adventure. You can explore the Yorkshire Dales, go for a stroll close to the property. For the more adventurous there are mountain bike trails in Stainburn Forest. A short drive or 2-mile walk to Almscliffe Cragg is certainly worth a visit and well as the many historical sites of interest such as Fountains Abbey and Bolton Abbey. Why not spend a day in Harrogate, visit Harlow Carr Gardens and enjoy exploring the lovely independent shops, galleries, cafes and renowned restaurants.

The entrance leads directly into the welcoming kitchen/diner, perfect for preparing a meal together and well-equipped with electric oven and hob, fridge with ice compartment and microwave. Head up the stairs to the first floor and you will find the lounge with additional sofa bed perfect for children. Sit back and relax and enjoy the magnificent views or watch your favourite film on the Smart TV. Off the lounge you will find the spacious attractive bedroom with super-king-size zip-and-link (can be made up as a twin on request) with TV, beautiful finishing touches and stunning views to enjoy. Also, on this floor is the stylish shower room with shower and WC. Separate washing facilities are available in the annex.

Heading outside you will find a patio with table and chairs and a further landscaped decked area with BBQ and firepit, the perfect spot to enjoy al fresco dining and drinks whilst watching the wildlife and sunset. There is also the added benefit of private off-road parking or garaging on arrangement for two cars and a secure bike store.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

We had the most wonderful time staying at Moorside Farmhouse. John and his family were so welcoming. The house was kept beautifully and had everything we needed including a little hamper of goodies on arrival. We certainly will be visiting again!

The property is set in a beautiful, quiet location. Its clean, modern, well equipped and comfortable. The owners were very welcoming, they supplied us with all the information we needed regarding the property and recommendations on places to eat etc. Cant fault it or think of any improvements.

Harrogate is a thriving, historic town at the heart of North Yorkshire and at the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. This fantastic town is a hit with culturists, historians and holidaymakers alike. Dubbed ‘The English Spa’ in 1596, the town boasts spa water high in iron, sulphur and salt. The Royal Pump Room is still open today as a museum, showcasing the original equipment that was used in its heyday. Two other major draws to the town are the Harrogate Convention Centre and the Great Yorkshire Showground. The former is a multi-purpose venue large enough to house huge conventions and business conferences. Many of the events are fan-based like the Lego-themed attractions and comic-cons. The latter is an outdoor venue that hosts even large events and shows, namely the agricultural Great Yorkshire Show.
