I spent a lovely weekend over Easter at Cowslip Cottage and its sister cottage Humble Bee Cottage with a group of girlfriends and our kids (party of 11 in total). The cottages were situated on a lovely farm with views of rolling countryside and its own cafe and a fabulous cookware shop - a real treasure trove! The cottages were very spacious and coRead moremfortable with everything we could need for a great stay. Tanya and her husband Dave were wonderful hosts who really went the extra mile! They were really flexible in moving beds around to accommodate our group, warm and friendly, gave helpful recommendations for things to do/ places to eat and welcomed us with a plate of delicious homemade cakes .. We couldn't have asked for more! Thanks again Tanya and Dave for a fabulous stay and sure we will return as so much to see and do in the local area! Hide

Our accommodation was absolutely lovely and the owners went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, from the wonderful homemade flapjacks, to unpacking our shopping and even donating to our justgiving page for a charity run. Truly fab!

Harrogate is a thriving, historic town at the heart of North Yorkshire and at the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. This fantastic town is a hit with culturists, historians and holidaymakers alike. Dubbed ‘The English Spa’ in 1596, the town boasts spa water high in iron, sulphur and salt. The Royal Pump Room is still open today as a museum, showcasing the original equipment that was used in its heyday. Two other major draws to the town are the Harrogate Convention Centre and the Great Yorkshire Showground. The former is a multi-purpose venue large enough to house huge conventions and business conferences. Many of the events are fan-based like the Lego-themed attractions and comic-cons. The latter is an outdoor venue that hosts even large events and shows, namely the agricultural Great Yorkshire Show.

Fancy a day of walking? Head to the Valley Gardens, home to a multitude of landscaped gardens that embrace different styles and influence. For further horticultural foray, head to the RHS Garden, Harlow Carr. The stunning gardens provide a leafy retreat where you can wander through woodland and alongside waterways.

The town centre is home to an array of boutique fashion shops, as well as high street favourites in and around the Victoria Shopping Centre. The Montpellier Quarter also offers exclusive shops and a huge range of antique dealers, ideal for hunting out a unique bargain. This fashionable spa town also plays host to many Michelin-starred restaurants too.

There is a host of places to visit and spend time at in and around Harrogate. We have a selection of holiday homes that include chic apartments, elegant townhouses and cosy cottages for romantic stays to inspire your break in Harrogate. Why not visit our collection to find your perfect property?
