We are a group of 8 golfers who were looking to stay near the center of Harrogate and the house ticked all the boxes. There is plenty of living space with 4 big bedrooms, a large kitchen with a table that easily sits 8 and another dining room and lounge. There is also a nice little seating area outside which was great on a sunny day. The 3 parking Read morespaces were helpful, and the location is perfect for Harrogate town center, It's less than 5 minutes walk to the middle of town and there are a couple of really nice restaurants within 50 yards. We loved Harrogate and the Townhouse was a perfect base for our week in Yorkshire. We had 3 of our children with us over the weekend and the accommodation was perfect for a family weekend. We regularly meet up for long bank holidays and I think we will struggle to find a better location. Perhaps we will return to Harrogate!

The house was lovely, exactly like the photos and as described. Very central, 5 - 10 minute walk to Harrogate train station and all that Harrogate has to offer, 35 minute train into Leeds which costs about 7. The parking about the back is tight but it's great that there is space for 3 cars

Harrogate is a thriving, historic town at the heart of North Yorkshire and at the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. This fantastic town is a hit with culturists, historians and holidaymakers alike. Dubbed ‘The English Spa’ in 1596, the town boasts spa water high in iron, sulphur and salt. The Royal Pump Room is still open today as a museum, showcasing the original equipment that was used in its heyday. Two other major draws to the town are the Harrogate Convention Centre and the Great Yorkshire Showground. The former is a multi-purpose venue large enough to house huge conventions and business conferences. Many of the events are fan-based like the Lego-themed attractions and comic-cons. The latter is an outdoor venue that hosts even large events and shows, namely the agricultural Great Yorkshire Show.

Fancy a day of walking? Head to the Valley Gardens, home to a multitude of landscaped gardens that embrace different styles and influence. For further horticultural foray, head to the RHS Garden, Harlow Carr. The stunning gardens provide a leafy retreat where you can wander through woodland and alongside waterways.

The town centre is home to an array of boutique fashion shops, as well as high street favourites in and around the Victoria Shopping Centre. The Montpellier Quarter also offers exclusive shops and a huge range of antique dealers, ideal for hunting out a unique bargain. This fashionable spa town also plays host to many Michelin-starred restaurants too.
