Enjoy the world of James Herriot museum or, slightly further afield, is the medieval city of York. If you are looking for a chilled time away this house is ideal. Its situated in a small village with a local pub that has a Chinese restaurant. The house was immaculate and well stocked with equipment. The owners are really helpful. We were a party of 8 to celebrate my Daughter Hen party. We were lucky with the weather and were able to make use of Read morethe garden furniture and hot tub. There are plenty of walks around the area I would recommend this house as a place to chill Hide

Had a lovely week celebrating birthday with the family. Overall house was lovely, quiet & well located, though would need car as situated in a little village, main shops in Thirsk only 10/15min drive. It was well stocked with equipment and thought of everything you would need. Hot tub was lovely and unlike most places didnt even need to add chemicaRead morels in daily. House was clean and tidy. We had a brilliant time at Chestnut View for a 80th birthday celebration. The cottage was spotlessly clean, very spacious for the 8 adults, toddler and dog that stayed. The hot tub is located in a good position to view the TV whilst soaking in the bubbles! Very relaxing. Wow what a wonderful place. Everything was provided for us, including sanitary products in every toilet, dog bedding and biscuits. The welcome pack was much appreciate. Had a wonderful time here for just dads 60th birthday. The cottage is absolutely gorgeous and immaculate. There was everythin we could possible need and more within the cottage and the hot tub was a lovely bonus since the weather kept dry. We met the owner upon entry who was very welcoming and had left some chocolates and wine for us which was a loRead morevely touch. Exactly what we hoped for a quiet rural location with all the amenities, village green, great pub and Cantonese. House perfect, modern, clean, with gorgeous views. The hosts had thought of everything and we dealt welcomed into their lovely holiday home.

Fantastic week away at Chestnut View. From the minute we arrived, to the minute we left we had a great time! We made good use of the hot tub, lovely views from the garden area. Chestnut View is located in a very quiet and peaceful location..just a fabulous holiday! Would highly recommend booking.

Chestnut View has everything! So much has been thought of from extra towels for the hot tub to doggy treats and iron. Everything is spotless and appliances are reliable. The Nags Head serves the most amazing Chinese for either takeaway or eat in. Thirsk is lovely and has a selection. Harrogate is a thriving, historic town at the heart of North Yorkshire and at the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park.
