We have had the great fortune to discover the delights of Casa Del Forno recently. It's hard to find new things to say about this gem, as everyone who has stayed here seems to have it covered! It is perfectly located, having the countryside on the doorstep in one direction and being within easy walking distance of the town centre in the other. It'Read mores hard to believe the main road into Harrogate is so close, as it was very peaceful. The house is spacious, beautifully decorated and furnished and is very stylish and comfortable, it has everything in the way of kitchen equipment you could possibly need, and throughout everything is of very high quality. But it's far more than that.....so much thought has gone into making this house more than just a holiday let. In the kitchen there are many extras, from things like kitchen foil, cling film, flour, sauces, herbs ,seasonings, coffee, tea, infusions, chocolate biscuits, bottled water, and fresh milk. The owner has given much thought to the needs of the guests The bedrooms and bathrooms have tissues, hairdryers, toiletries and showers caps. The sitting room has books galore, games and activities to entertain children. The standard is that of a 5 star hotel with the comfort and privacy of a home. We can't recommend Casa Del Forno highly enough and will definitely be returning Hide

We've had a very comfortable stay in this spacious 2 floor apartment, within walking distance of the centre of Harrogate. There are 2 double bedrooms downstairs and a roomy single on the entrance level with an additional pull-out bed. The beds are comfy and the rooms feel cosy. The main bedroom downstairs has a walk-in shower ensuite; the ground flRead moreoor has a good-sized bath with shower. The lounge has a big bay window overlooking leafy streets. There's a patio area with a table for 6, which gets the sun in the afternoon. The kitchen is well stocked with crockery and cutlery- the only issue being that there is no cupboard space for food. Parking is available at the back gate (quite tight to the wall) or on the street at the front. There are a couple of steps up to the back door and several at the front. You can hear the neighbours, particularly upstairs, some of the time, and the patio is overlooked by the upstairs flats, but it's to be expected in a town house apartment and the bedrooms downstairs are well insulated. The best thing about this apartment is its location. The centre of town restaurants, theatre and shops are in easy walking distance of about 10 mins at a slow pace. We've barely used the car- which is great as the usual designated driver. Hide

Excellent accommodation, real home from home! Had everything you could possibly need and then more on top. We went as a family of 5 (grandma, mum, dad and 2 children) and it was perfect for all of us. Ideally situated for The International centre and to explore the centre of Harrogate. Great communication from the owners too. Highly recommended!

Have just returned from three days at the Harrogate crime fiction festival with two friends. We were lucky enough to stay at Casa Del Forno. This apartment is an absolute delight. We were able to leave our car parked outside all weekend and walked everywhere, including fab trip to Turkish Baths. The owner was easy to contact and most helpful. We needed three separate bedrooms and a very short walk to town and no other properties could provide that at this price. All in all we had a fantastic stay and intend to come back for our next trip to the crime fiction festival. The photographs are totally accurate, it really is as good as it looks Hide

We thought the apartment was absolutely divine. We loved how luxurious it felt, the rooms were decorated to a really high standard, that of a boutique hotel. It was also so well equipped, there was nothing you didn't have. Everyone was impressed and said it felt like home away from home. I have passed on your details to our craft lady at her requesRead moret, she has family joining her for a family wedding in Harrogate who presently have no accommodation and she felt it would be perfect for them. Harrogate is a thriving, historic town at the heart of North Yorkshire and at the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. This fantastic town is a hit with culturists, historians and holidaymakers alike. Dubbed ‘The English Spa’ in 1596, the town boasts spa water high in iron, sulphur and salt. The Royal Pump Room is still open today as a museum, showcasing the original equipment that was used in its heyday. Two other major draws to the town are the Harrogate Convention Centre and the Great Yorkshire Showground. The former is a multi-purpose venue large enough to house huge conventions and business conferences. Many of the events are fan-based like the Lego-themed attractions and comic-cons. The latter is an outdoor venue that hosts even large events and shows, namely the agricultural Great Yorkshire Show.

Fancy a day of walking? Head to the Valley Gardens, home to a multitude of landscaped gardens that embrace different styles and influence. For further horticultural foray, head to the RHS Garden, Harlow Carr. The stunning gardens provide a leafy retreat where you can wander through woodland and alongside waterways.

The town centre is home to an array of boutique fashion shops, as well as high street favourites in and around the Victoria Shopping Centre. The Montpellier Quarter also offers exclusive shops and a huge range of antique dealers, ideal for hunting out a unique bargain. This fashionable spa town also plays host to many Michelin-starred restaurants too.
