This beautiful, traditional stone barn is located in the heart of the Yorkshire countryside and boasts space, quality and style. Sleeping up to six people in three bedrooms, it's perfect for celebrations or getaways with family and friends. The property's peaceful location gives you and your guests the luxury of stepping back from the hustle and bustle, while still being within a few miles of city life. It also allows one four-legged family member, and the local pub and shop are 1 mile away.

Carefully designed interiors help to retain this property's character and charm, while offering all the modern comforts you'd expect. In the spacious lounge, with its impressive floor-to-ceiling window, the cosy wood burner floods the room with warmth making it a wonderful space to relax. A few steps lead down into the kitchen/diner, which is equipped with everything you'll need to prepare meals and snacks during your stay. An adjoining TV snug area offers another place to relax and unwind. You and your guests can enjoy a peaceful night's sleep in the three bedrooms, which are all en-suite and furnished with their own TVs. One of the bedrooms is located on the ground floor, which less-mobile guests may find helpful. Stepping outside you'll discover a stone patio and gravelled courtyard, the perfect spot for a BBQ and a chance to soak up the tranquil atmosphere.

Explore the network of footpaths and bike trails on your doorstep, an idyllic way to take in this stunning area and rugged moorland. The incredible balancing rock formations at the National Trust's Brimham Rocks (7 miles) make for a great day out. You are less than 7 miles from vibrant Harrogate, with its Convention Centre, independent shops, Turkish Baths, Royal Pump Room Museum and a plethora of fantastic restaurants to suit all palates.

And no trip to this corner of Yorkshire would be complete without a day out in Harrogate. This elegant Victorian Spa town is bursting at the seams with antique shops, cafes, independent boutiques and restaurants. And the RHS Gardens at Harlow Carr are a must see too. And for eats you'll find no shortage of excellent gastro pubs and restaurants in the area; there are many more fantastic establishments including cafes and finger-on-the-pulse delicatessens across Harrogate. The town is also renowned for its spa waters, Harrogate is a hit with culturists, historians and holidaymakers alike. It is also home to the Harrogate Convention Centre which is the biggest event space in the north. Also, be sure to coincide a visit to town for the Great Yorkshire Show at the town Showgrounds. Very clean, tidy, organised and well provisioned. Beautifully situated and ideal for dog-walking, person-walking and exercise in general. Ample car-parking for two vehicles - three possible, but rather a squeeze, I think. Excellent walled outside area, which is totally (small) dog proof i.e. dog cannot get out. The converted barn is in a fabulous picturesque and quiet setting within the owners land which was spectacularly landscaped and immaculately maintained. The finish is of a high quality with good specification appliances and furniture. Three proper en-suite bedrooms, a good sized and comfortable dine in kitchen all led to a good holiday. Great location, fantastic setting and at this time of year, very beautiful gardens. Took about 15 minutes to get into Harrogate, 30 mins to Ilkley. Some great local pubs for meals - we liked the Station Hotel. A good base for exploring the local area.Barn was very comfortable, a home from home. Lovely welcome pack, normal home activities catered foRead morer. Barn was lovely and warm with the underfloor heating, kept the warmth. Phone signal not so great but wifi is included so can keep in touch. Beds were very comfortable so we slept well. This is a lovely cottage in a great part of the country. Nidderdale is spectacular all year round and we were very lucky that the sun shone on us for most of the week. Even though it was cold outside, we were toasty warm in the cottage, with its underfloor heating and lovely hot water. We visited the surrounding area, especially enjoying FountaiRead morens Abbey, Bolton Abbey and Harrogate, where a meal at Bettys comes highly recommended! The cottage's very friendly owners keep it in top condition, it's very clean, comfortable and well equipped and is every bit as good as its description implies. Hide

Very well equipped attractive cottage. All three bedrooms are a good size and each has its own bathroom. We had a lovely stay at Carr Well Barn. It is one of the best equipped rental cottages I have ever stayed in, with lots of little extras from the owners to make you feel really at home. There is plenty of space and its a great location from which to explore Harrogate and the Dales. We will definitely be back!

Harrogate is a thriving, historic town at the heart of North Yorkshire and at the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park.
