Two dogs are also welcome and with the surrounding Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty offering endless opportunities to explore, there's something here for everyone.

Traditional touches are to be found throughout this cottage, complemented by creative decor to create a very homely feel. A cleverly designed area under the stairs provides a safe alternative place to leave your dogs, too. The cottage-style kitchen, with extendable dining table, is both colourful and stylish, and features all you'll need for preparing meals and snacks. Heading upstairs you'll find two cosy double bedrooms along with the main bathroom. Outside and across the quiet country lane, there's a large private garden and patio, with furniture for drinks and al fresco dining. If you don't fancy venturing far from your front door, take a walk around Lindley Reservoir, which is a haven for birds and wildlife. There are many local walks and cycle trails to explore too. Harrogate (6 miles) is packed with things to do, including a visit to the Valley Gardens, the Royal Pump Room Museum or the Turkish Baths. Excellent cosy cottage in excellent location. Very small but loved our stay here. Lots of beautiful walks from the doorstep. Our dog loved it too! The road is very quiet.

We had such a lovely stay here - the cottage is so well designed, the kitchen was small but well stocked with a place for everything! We loved the garden and so did our dog. The area was great for walks, pubs and gardens, but still felt really peaceful and rural. The host was communicative and really helpful.

A lovely little cottage in a great location. Rural but not isolated. Great walks on the doorstep. Lots of birds and wildlife including deer. Nicely furnished. Good wifi connection. Lovely, peaceful garden. (The garden is opposite the house so just be aware of crossing the lane as cyclists do tend to whoosh around the corner!)

A peaceful week in the countryside, but with easy access to lots of towns and attractions nearby. We had a great 3 nights staying at Ivy Cottage. Ideal location for people wanting to visit Leeds, Bradford or Harrogate, but prefer being in the countryside, rather than in a town/city. Ivy Cottage is well equipped and has everything you need. Its a relatively small cottage, but added to the charm. Would definitely consider staying there again.

Ivy Cottage is lovely and homely, extremely well equipped, do search it is all there, it was comfortable for the 2 of us and our large dog, very much the rural cottage, but it is very small. Right on the roadside on a blind bend, can be busy with traffic, much care is needed, plus the garden being opposite the cottage taking food and drinks into itRead more was too challenging for us. The wine, choccy biscuits, milk and doggy treats were much appreciated. Hide
