This stunning 150 year old former barn is situated in the village of Huby, only a short drive from the centre of the Spa town of Harrogate. Huby has its own train stop for Harrogate, Leeds and York and is ideal for families, walkers, or conference delegates who want to escape from the hustle and bustle of the Conference centre to this tranquil spot, with free ranging hens and wonderful views from both north and south facing windows.

The cottage has parking and the owners also provide a welcome pack to include free range eggs from their hens.

Accommodation

The accommodation is all on one level. From the patio area, a large double glazed doorway leads to a lifestyle room with kitchen dining and lounge area complete with farmhouse style dining table and under floor heating. The kitchen has a Belfast trough sink and integrated units. Within the lounge area there is a tv, dvd and video with videos and dvd's for guest use, books and games. The dining/breakfast area is large enough to seat six guests. Feature stone walls and beams blend the old with the new. Spacious family room with double bed,(4ft 6in) and single bed room with rear views. The large master bedroom has front views and a king sized double bed. Bathroom with freestanding shower, bath, heated towel rail, toilet and basin. Outside laundry/utility/shoe room (washer and dryer shared with owner) .Welcome pack.

Calor gas central heating, underfloor heatng, microwave, larder fridge, freezer in laundry room, gas hob with electric oven and integral grill and extractor hood. TV, video, Hi Fi unit with radio/cd. All Fuel, linen and towels included in the rent. Parking for 2 cars. Babies welcome with cot and high chair available on request. Outside Furniture. Please bring own barbeque. Pets accepted at a charge of £20 per pet but need to be kept on a lead near hens and owners dogs. Smoking outside. Short breaks.
