Shaw Mills is ideally positioned for visiting many local places of interest which include Fountins Abbey, Brimham Rocks, Pateley Bridge, Ripon, York and of course Harrogate itself. The village has a local pub is only 1.5 miles away in nearby Burnt Yates, and good eateries nearby. A bus service to Ripley several times each day leaves from opposite the cottage.

From the car parking space there is an outside boot/shoe rack and log store leading to the front door. Entrance hall with stone flooring leading to the carpeted ground floor double bedroom with Iron bed, tea and coffee making facilities, tv, vanity sink, feature beams and stable door access to the patio/barbeque area. Fully tiled shower room with basin, shower and toilet. Steps lead up to large open plan lounge with wooden flooring, double sofa bed and wood burning stove, dining area with room for 4 guests. Kitchen, fitted with microwave, cooker with extraction canopy and fridge with freezer compartment. Washer, dryer in separate laundry room (laundry equipment shared with owners) Welcome pack of toiletries and beverages.
