Forming part of a development which will be ready in July 2009, this, with ref 303 and 304, is one of three newly built cottages situated in the grounds of the beautiful 12th century Cistercian Syningthwaite Priory, near Wetherby.

The cottages have been designed to be architecturally in keeping with the historic Priory but embrace all modern amenities and contemporary furnishings. The cottages are around a 15-20 minute drive from the stunning spa town of Harrogate and the historic city of York. Located on the owner's farm there are beautiful walks around the boundaries as well as public footpaths and bridleways from the cottages.

The cottages are positioned around a stunning landscaped courtyard garden with full view of the historical Priory; each property also has French doors leading to its own private garden. The properties would be ideal for families, couples or conference delegates wishing to escape the hustle and bustle of town! There are several pubs within striking distance, the nearest in Walton.

Accommodation

A charming open plan beamed cottage consisting of a lifestyle room of kitchen, dining and lounge with glazed French doors opening onto a private garden with stunning views across fields and entrance area. There are 2 bedrooms; one double and one single both with top quality mattresses and white cotton bed linen. There is a contemporary bathroom with shower over the bath. Pets are welcome in this property.

Services

On arrival you will be directed to the contemporary reception space, located in the historic barn, this also houses a guest's games room and meeting rooms available to hire. The beautifully landscaped Courtyard Garden is for all the guests to enjoy along with a designated recreation area.

Within the properties; the kitchen's are all equipped with modern electric and microwave ovens, ceramic hob, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, washer / dryer and ironing facilities. 32" Plasma TV/DVD, High speed wireless internet connection, TV in the master bedroom, "living flame" (gel) fires in each property. All the kitchen's are equipped with solid granite worktops and "travertine" tiled floors. Car parking for 2 cars, Barbeque provided (on request). All fuel, linen and towels included in the rent. Families welcome, highchair & cot provided on request. Strictly no smoking inside the cottages. Short breaks accepted out of season. Welcome tray of toiletries and beverages. Pets are accepted in Goldesburgh Lodge at a charge of £20 per pet. During peak times change over day is Saturday, please call for details. This property is only taking bookings for Christmas 2010 week between Monday 20th - 27th December.
