Shire Cottage is the larger of the two properties now housed within the South-facing, 16th century Grade 2 Listed Stable Block.
The entrance leads to a lounge with travertine flooring and feature living fire. Off left is a spacious and light kitchen/dining room with seating for 6-8 guests. Stairs from lounge up to two airy beamed bedrooms. Bedroom 1 has a large feature window (formerly the Stable hay loft door) and super king-size zip and link beds with orthopaedic mattresses. An en-suite bathroom has double-ended bath with hand-held shower, toilet and basin.
Bedroom 2 has a super king-size zip and link bed also with orthopedic mattresses. An en-suite has walk-in power shower cubicle, toilet and basin.
Studio-style Bedroom 3 with zip and link king-size bed has its own open plan staircase accessed from the lounge and is above the fully tiled wet room with 6-seater Super Spa hot tub, walk-in shower, toilet & basin. Please be aware that use of the Super Spa attracts a charge of £80 which must be requested on booking and is paid directly to the Owner.
Please note that a £100 returnable bond is payable to the Owner for single-gender bookings.
