2014 - What a year for Harrogate!

There's so much to look forward to in 2014, we hardly know where to begin. Of course the Grand Depart of The Tour de France is coming to both Harrogate and Knaresborough over the weekend of 5th & 6th July. At this point we have just a few properties still available for that amazing weekend and they are;
Sleeping upto 4 people in Harrogate town centre it is within walking distance of the first day finish line!
Cathedral Way & Cathedal Mews
2 properties located in Ripon, within walking distance of the first day route, these adjacent properties sleep 8 together or 5 and 3 respectively.
Garden View a pet friendly one bedroomed property in Knaresborough which is within walking distance of the route on the 2nd day.

If the arts are more you thing - there are events a plenty. From the 100 day arts festival leading up to The Tour de France - Grand Depart to The Harrogate Festival which is fantastic attracting lots of international and national music and literary acts.
New for 2014 the prestigious The Gilbert & Sullivan Festival is locating from Buxton to Harrogate in August. So if you fancy a bit of HMS Pinafore there's a wealth of productions to choose from from 2nd - 26th August - click here to take a look at the itinerary. It will be a an extravaganza!
If the outdoors are more your thing then in July the Great Yorkshire Show is a celebration of all things farming. For gardeners ther RHS Harlow Carr is open year round but tie it in with The Spring Flower Show at the Yorkshire Show Ground 23rd-25th April - for a great horticultural break.
What ever your reason to visit there's lots to do around Harrrogate, Knaresborough, Ripon & York.
