A Question of Sport comes to Harrogate!

August 11th, 2010 A Question of Sport is coming to Harrogate International Centre! Entertaining millions of viewers every week BBC ONE's A Question of Sport has had a staggering 40 years on air. The programme currently has a five-year waiting list for people wanting to be in the audience and the live tour has been developed to meet fans insatiable demand to get up close and personal with the show. The tickets are just on sale and are priced £35 and this special evening is taking place 28th October at 7.30pm. Call 0845 130 8840 for tickets.

February 22nd, 2010 Now that half term is out of the way, Easter will soon be upon us, this year Good Friday falls on 2nd April. The holiday period for an Easter break with Harrogate Holiday Cottages this year are 27th March through to 10th April. Harrogate and the surrounding area is a fantastic place to visit just as spring is (hopefully) springing! If you are visiting Harrogate with family there's a wealth of activities to enjoy. There are Easter Egg hunts taking place at Harlow Carr from 2nd - 5th April and at the magnificent Harewood House which is just a short twenty minute drive from Harrogate. February 15th, 2010 Here at Harrogate Holiday Cottages we are passionate about Harrogate and it's gorgeous surrounding area so we were thrilled to see that contributors to Phil and Kirsty's "Best and worst" poll have voted Harrogate the best place in the country to live! Whilst we appreciate that everyone can't live here it certainly shows that it's a great town to come and visit. Harrogate International Centre - Development Plans

January 20th, 2010 Here in Harrogate we are very proud of the reputation of the Harrogate International Conference Centre so we are delighted to see a £13 million investment into the Centre, funded equally by Yorkshire Forward and Harrogate Borough Council. The funding will be used to create two new exhibition halls on the former Holiday Inn car park site. This will provide 3,400 square metres floor space 6 metre high as a multi-purpose exhibition space, which could also be used for large conferences. Work is expected to be complete in 2011.If you are travelling to Harrogate as a delegate or as an exhibitor then Harrogate Holiday Cottages have lots of properties just moments away from the HIC, see the properties in the "Harrogate Centre" section of our site for full details.

It’s panto time in Harrogate! (oh yes it is!)

December 1st, 2009 Harrogate Theatre is proudly presenting Aladdin as it’s annual Pantomime. Go along to Harrogate theatre between 27th November and 16th January and have a great time singing along and booing baddies!
