The shops and restaurants of Knaresborough are also closeby. In the spring and summer boats can be hired nearby for afternoons boating on the river with tea rooms for watching the boats. The train station can easily be accessed at the top of the bank, with links to Harrogate, York and Leeds.
Harrogate the famous spa and conference town is an easy 15 minutes drive. The cottage provides an excellent base for touring the beautiful Yorkshire Dales.

Broadband internet access (through network cable). On street parking for 1 small/medium sized car outside on Water Bag Bank (fairly steep and cobbled). Babies welcome with own travel cot. Sorry no pets. Strictly no smoking. Short breaks accepted out of season.
