Studfold
Barn is a superb spaciously converted local stone building that
has been furnished and equipped to a very high standard. The barn
is situated on the edge of Studfold Farm Caravan Park in Upper
Nidderdale, an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The
Barn is a ‘home from home’ that allows its guests
the chance to explore the wonderful nearby countryside and towns,
sample the delicious local fayre or simply relax and unwind
letting the stresses of everyday life ebb away.
ACCOMMODATION:
Ground Floor
- Entrance leads past both a well-equipped utility room complete
with washer, tumble drier, freezer, microwave and ample facility to
hold and dry outside clothing/footwear and cloakroom with wc
and washbasin. The beautiful farmhouse kitchen/dining area boast a large solid pine table and chairs around which to gather
for leisurely mealtimes. The kitchen, complete with breakfast
bar is fully fitted with integral dishwasher, fridge, double
oven/grill and hob. The floor is flagged with practical and attractive terracotta and
sand coloured quarry tiles. The dining area leads off
to a large double bedroom (bedroom 1) complete with fully tiled
walk-in shower room. This pretty bedroom is carpeted and very tastefully
furnished. Oak staircase leads to first floor.
First Floor -
Stunning lounge area with high ceiling and original beams complete
with black-leaded log burner set in a magnificent stone-arched
fireplace / hearth ensures that the barn maintains its wealth of original
character. There are impressive views from both windows and
the original hay vent. Small landing area leads to main bathroom complete
with integral washbasin, wc and bath with hand-held shower facilities. Bedroom 2 is a single bedded room with excellent
views of the local farmland. This bedroom is also equipped with a cot and mattress. Bedroom 3 is a large & spacious
twin bedded room, is light and airy and again has an original hay vent overlooking the local farmland. All bedrooms are carpeted
to a high standard and are furnished with locally built solid pine furniture.

oil-fired central heating and hot water. Black-leaded log burner and wood. Double glazed windows throughout. Electric
cooker with double oven/grill, hob and extractor hood, microwave,
fridge, freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher. hair dryer, TV with full sky digital package, DVD player, Hi-Fi, smoke alarms on both floors, shaver point. Water supply is purified spring water. Solid pine furniture and beds throughout. Cot and high
chair. Two private patio areas adjacent to pretty
gardens and rockery. Stone built barbeque facilities. Drive with ample parking facility.
Selection of games, DVD's, books etc.
Dogs are welcome by arrangement and at an additional charge. Large outside run with kennel provided. Also dog basket, bedding and bowls. No smoking. All fuel, power, linen and towels are included
in the rent. Mid week and weekend breaks are offered out of
season. Friday check-ins preferred. Please note that the barn is available from October 2007
and can be booked in conjuction with Kirklea Cottage (Ref 516).
